Por ello, según una información a la que ha tenido acceso Superdeporte, el Valencia CF ya ha hecho gestiones por un delantero. Se trata del portugués Rafael Leao, futbolista de 19 años que juega en el Lille de la liga francesa. En su primera temporada en la élite, Leao ha jugado 24 partidos y ha marcado ocho goles. Se trata de una apuesta clara de futuro, ya que es un jugador que todavía no está hecho, es más bien un diamante por pulir. Llegó al Lille el verano pasado procedente del filial del Sporting de Lisboa, si bien llegó a jugar tres partidos de Liga y uno de Copa con el primer equipo.
